The Bay Horse Arkholme is family run
Ian and Sandra look forward to welcoming you to their historic and beautifully village inn.
The three superbly appointed bedrooms are all en-suite
Overnight guests can start the day with a proper English breakfast and all the trimmings or partake in a lighter Continental-style alternative before setting out to enjoy the beauties of the surrounding countryside.
From the grandeur of the Lake District mountains, to the calm serenity of the Lune Valley, or the quaintly charming and award winning, Cartmel Peninsula across the sweeping sands of Morecambe Bay - all is ready to savour.
Food and Drinks
The Bay Horse bar is open daily from 12.00am, and when you arrive back tired but happy after exploring the unspoilt corners of this beautiful part of the country, you can retire to the welcoming bar and enjoy a quiet drink or two.
Food is severed Lunchtime and Evenings in the bar
At the Bay Horse the resident chef, keeps an eye on the kitchens.
An interesting traditional bar menu with such tasty old fashioned favourites as steak and ale pie, minted lamb henry, curries, snacks, salads, roast gammon and quality, locally reared, English beef.
Most of the meat on the menu is from local butchers in Silverdale
Of course vegetarians are not forgotten - there is always a varied selection available plus a tasty menu of light bites, salads and starters.
Puddings are the sort Grandma used to make including apple pie and custard and the local favourite - sticky toffee.
